I owe a debt of gratitude to the fine and upstanding members of the “Anybody else think EA Sports should make an Ultimate Frisbee game?" Facebook group for inspiring this blog.

Teams want the chance to showcase their strengths as well expose their weaknesses before they make their Sarasota run. However, I would not be surprised if the winner this weekend was playing late in Florida.

There's a mental side to it (more on that next week). But as with most skills, the mental enables the physical. So what are the fine points of such? I'll try to break it down here...

But overall, people were amazingly friendly, certainly to me and my team. I think I mentioned once before, I enjoy my nanocelebrity status. I got a lot of "Good game, Jim" in the line after the game, people introduced themselves, and I even got VIP access at the finals (worse seats, but free beer).
