Here's a great quote: "what a coach knows but his players don't is irrelevant when it comes to winning games". This I interpret, as a coach, is your goal is to convey information about the game, the situation, and the skill to your players. This passing of information is done at practice and in games.

One of the challenges of coaching is having young players as well as older players understand the difference in the window of opportunity of i/o throws and o/i throws. Especially break throws.

No matter what level of team here in the northeast, at least once a game, there is always the dreaded i/o break turnover to someone making a cone cut from the back of the stack.

In Ultimate footwork has become more and more of a priority for individual players at the elite level. Efficiencies with your legs on defense can mean the difference between getting a block and giving up an easy goal.

This is a tough year to seed Nationals, if only because there is so much parity, and so much disparity between how some teams' skill level and their season performance.
