Yeah, yeah, throwing and catching. Fundamentals aside, here, let's talk about one step up--the dump. Absolutely essential as a building block for any offensive strategy (even if you Huck and Hope, you're going to make some dump-like passes to set that up at some point).

In this issue of The Huddle we asked our roster of authors to discuss zone defense. In particular we asked them to describe their favorite zone—the one they feel the most confident in and the one they like the most—and tell us its strengths and weaknesses.

It is pretty obvious that the BB are a collection of extremely fast players. If they get separation from their defender and the throw is good, there is no catching them.

I'm angry. If you've ever seen ultimate played competitively, you know that people often celebrate after scoring. Sometimes these celebrations take it way too far, and frankly, it's just annoying.

The most terrifying aspect of captaining or coaching, for many players, is being responsible for deciding who plays, and when. In this issue, we'll discuss the thought processes that go into making these decisions.

You are in an elimination game against a team you have played several times this year. They have a very skilled deep thrower that typically plays as a handler, rarely going downfield.

Cutting serves as one of Ultimate's most fundamental and important skills. With well-made cuts, you can win even if your team doesn't have dominant throws.

Do you like catching the frisbee? Do you enjoy stopping others from doing so? Would you enjoy doing both more consistently in the air?

Work on your jumping form. A couple things to keep in mind when you go up for the sky:
