Wisconsin, for the 4th consecutive ballot, has received each first place vote and retains the #1 spot by a mile. Florida jumped two spots to the #2 spot. Stanford jumped up 8 spots to 3. Carleton hangs in the top 4.

Below you will find the 8th NUMP Mens Rankings for the 2008 College Season, for the 2 weeks beginning April 14th.

Below you will find the second Mens Division poll of the 2008 College Season from the National Ultimate Media Panel. I didn't send out a Friday afternoon reminder, which i believe accounts for the lower voting turnout. The PreSeason Rankings included 20 mens voters, and this week, only 12.

As I said before, we need to devote more attention to the women's game on this blog.

NUMP Mens College Rankings for the week of April 28 08

Yes, lots on our plate these days. Club Nationals, a looming college season, but I want to talk about something else. The 2009 World Games are just around the corner and if the U.S. national team wants to improve the selection process from 2005 the time to start thinking about that is now (or, weeks & months ago really, but now will suffice).

The first weekend of the UPA College Series is in the books, and Florida and Arizona have taken their first step toward Boulder, while Ohio State and Pennsylvania have built some momentum toward picking off two more of the sixteen spots. The second weekend offers an extravaganza of events from east to west.
