DiscNW is seeking a creative and committed individual to serve as the Director of Youth Operations. This is a full time position that will start in July, 2008.

This sport is growing exponentially in high school. Being a player on a good YCC team no longer translates into immediate success in college. The level of play jumps dramatically, and without knowledgeable and experience leaders, players are left stunted in their ability to grow their skills.

Tryout season is alive and well in Canada right now, and most likely down in the U-S of A. As teams are being formed, the question many people discuss is this: How many guys should we carry?

I came to the realization this weekend that the difference between quality of teams is athleticism, players per team, clockspeed, and skills. The level of strategy is the same everywhere.
