Wow, great day for ultimate (not for me, I broke my foot) but a great day non the less. Lets talk some sectionals' results with who looked good and who got "no-cigar'd".

Hodawgs prime for regionals
Although Frisbee is popular on Myers quad and other campus locales, the women's ultimate Frisbee club team plays for more than recreation. The team refers to itself as the Hodawgs. "Ho" stands for horizontal, team members said, the position of a player outstretched for a Frisbee.
Looking Around
The first weekend of the UPA College Series is in the books, and Florida and Arizona have taken their first step toward Boulder, while Ohio State and Pennsylvania have built some momentum toward picking off two more of the sixteen spots. The second weekend offers an extravaganza of events from east to west.
Yale Cup and Sectionals pre/reviews
This is the first of a series of exciting weekends that are coming up over the next month or so. This past weekend was Yale Cup, which is basically a rehearsal for NE Regionals, Florida Sectionals, Desert Sectionals, and East Penn Sectionals. Next weekend also has it's fair share of action with the Bay Area, Carolina, and SoCal sectionals. Here are some thoughts.
Womens Sectionals Previews
This weekend kicks off the official start of the College Series. The So Cal and Washington/BC Sectionals are two of the strongest in the nation this year and feature teams that are in the mix for the title. The South Section features three teams that were national-caliber last year and find themselves in the new position of being the challengers.
