What is RSS?
RSS is a way for web users to keep track of their favorite websites. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it allows you to tell websites to send you updates when they have new content. You subscribe to the website and the updates are sent to you. Much better than having to check the website constantly for updates.
How to use RSS
Get an RSS reader - An RSS reader is where all of your content will be sent. Some popular and free ones are Google Reader and Bloglines. There are many more choices out there and you can find a list of some of them at News On Feeds.
Other options
If you don't want to use an RSS reader, you can click the RSS icon and select the option to subscribe via email.
